DARE stands for.......
Drug Abuse Resistance Education Program.
Today, Constable Kendrick came into Room 16 and we learnt about some non-drug strategies.
For Example: I said,
“Hey Lauren, I’ve got a really bad headache and i was wondering is you have any suggestions, so that I can get better?” and Lauren replied,
“Uhmm, yeah actually I do, why don’t you just have a drink of water and get some fresh air.”
I thought that having Constable Kendrick come into our classroom and Room 16 learning about different types of drugs was good because for children our age, know not to take illegal drugs when we're older.
