Block A Evacuation

On the 7th of September which was two weeks ago at Dannevirke South School, block A was evacuated. I walked into the school and seen that there is caution tape in the area that is now out of bounds. It is unsafe to be around this area because if there is an earthquake or something similar the roof may fall.




Since this happened a lot of classrooms have been disrupted. Starting with team two in the mornings they go to the senior classes, room four goes into room seventeen, room five goes into room sixteen and room six goes into room fifteen. When they get to school in the morning they are able to go to the senior classes and in room sixteen they are able to play board games. Once the bell rings and they finish the roll after that, they go to Totara College. Room seven has gone into room fourteen while room fourteen, two and three have gone into the hall.

A lot of staff have moved around the school too. The staff room has moved into the hall on the stage and the photocopier is in the staff on stage in the hall as well.

There have been many other changes to facilities as well. Like Mrs Buchanan is going to be in Room sixteen and Mrs Easton is in Room fifteen. Mrs Gyde is now at Totara College!
